How to Get to Moreton Island with a Boat

Currently, the island itself doesn’t have a marina, when you book a ferry, they will dock at Tangalooma Wrecks, cruises and ferries usually park from there.

If you’re lucky enough to have a boat, then happy days – Moreton Island is only a short journey away from anyone within Queensland’s boating surrounds! There are several ways to get to Moreton Island, but if you’re coming by boat the easiest way is to book one of the holiday houses on Happy Days Moreton Island.

The accommodation is located on the water’s edge and offers direct access to the beach, making it the perfect place to moor your vessel. From there, you can explore all that Moreton Island has to offer, including the world-famous Tangalooma Wrecks, Blue Lagoon and more.

This way you can moor your boat directly in front of the accommodation, making it super easy to get to and from Moreton Island and enjoying your vacation.
